Kinda obvious statement, but not for everyone. Leaving your kids for internet is like letting them play unattended in a streat filled with drug addicts. Best case scenario is they fall into government propaganda, worst case they would fall for some “blue whale” maniac group teaching people how to commit suicide in a correct way.

When I was young and I got internet access I did not have much illusions about it: I needed internet to be a bad guy. But it was my conscious decision and I knew the consequences — five year old kids do not.

The government and corporate control actually actively make the problem worse because by masking the problem they pretend it does not exist: “the internet is safe, please move along and continue to not give a shit about your kids”.
“Hey, this heroin is manufacturer approved, so its consumption is safe” — enough to reassure parents, not nearly enough to reassure people who studied how pedophiles swarm any little girl’s facebook account in few days or how predatory corporation behavior deliberately makes kids addicted:

And let’s be honest: the only instance when government actually cares about some kids is when this government needs to implement additional censorship. I mean for decade pakistanies were raping underage girls in britain, but the government reacted only to implement additional internet censorship i.e. Online Safety Act. Bravo, now the government decides who has the right to rape your kids online.
